My favourite relative

Although it is somewhat difficult to decide, my favorite relative is my younger sister, Carla.

Carlita is a very special girl, was born in 2004 when I was 10, and for me it was like I was being a mom. Always I cared them, made her sleep, gave him food, played with her and taught her things. I remember as I got older and was more aware of everything, every time I or my other sister Sophia hung out and we walked away from it, he began to mourn, and my cotaba me out much.

It has always been the most pampered of the house, it is active, attentive, sociable and affectionate and perceptive. It's my favorite for all the joy that gives us all the love and peace that radiates all the funny moments and always want to solve problems with love.

The best memories I have are all, every day is a good day whit her smile, fills me emotions!

I learned a lot from she, as it has a great ability to transmit happiness and peace. I think not only to me, also to all my family, carlita always gives us lessons of patience and unity, because however small, has always understood the problems that sometimes arise and have always wanted to be nosy helping and telling us what to do.

I am very grateful to have her :)

My future career...

I am in first year of veterinary medicine at the University and I really like to work and learn a lot about all the areas of career, already I like them all, exept some that don' t go with my ideals.

What attracts me now are larger animals such as cows, sheep, alpacas, horses, etc. having a clinic to serve as visiting farms or fields and serve in their habitat. But first option is conservation and wildlife and exotic animals. Is the area that more attracts me and goes with my personality, I would like to work doing researchs, in conservation parks, educating and informing people about these species and may help in improving the living conditions of animals in zoos , traveling and learning more.

It is very wide the field of what can be done with these types of animals, and a lot about what it takes to help improve the quality of life for all of them and educating people to respect them.

In the future, I would like to continue specializing in conservation and wildlife, and also later, I would like to study dance, which is my other passion apart from animals because it is a beautiful art and want to learn more from her.

A picture that I like...

This is an illustration of a woman named Loreto Contreras Herrera. I saw in a website about Natural gynecology some day ago and loved me. I don't know much about when and in what context she created this, because this women just shared the picture for alls in the website. This is not a picture with a story or important memories for me, but if it has a great  meaning that I agree.
What it means image, from my point of view, is that us women carry and represent the total life. The nature and the universe go hand in hand with us, represent earth, air, fire and water, life giving.

I believe that women have the power to transform and to create new awareness, which is what the world needs.

Our bodies are unique, beautiful and private individuals, we have to let it flow!

I like the picture for what it represents and I mentioned, and also because it is a very cute and flashy design :)

Why do you want to be a veterinarian!!!

When I was a child I had many dreams of what I wanted to be when I grow up. I wanted to be a dancer (today is one of my great passions dance), astronaut, pirate, doctor and veterinary also. Then, in the last years of school, I was always betwenn veterinary and obstetrics, although always the animals were first.

I finally decided on veterinary because I've always wanted to help animals, learn about them and know them, and be able to contribute to improving the lives of these. Moreover I feel a great love for all animals nonhuman of the world, and I want to take my life free, and partly to be a vet I allow that, already I will work alone and for myselfs.

My university experience until now has been good, I do not regret having chosen this career, and it motivates me to learn more, but I accept that I have done something difficult and you have to esforzarce much.

And in the future, I want to work in wildlife, doing research, working in the conservation of species, knowing places. etc.
:)

Technology

I have not really favorite technological object, because I am not very passionate about tecnology, but I think it helps in many ways. In this sense, there are two objects that I'm use a lot, the phone and notebook.

Today, the cell and the notebook are objects that allow us to perform almost the same things, communicate wirelessly, inform, entertain, investigate. etc.
I always go with my phone, as it allows me to be connected with the people I need, however the notebook usually I use them alone in my house.

Today I have a simple cell, used to call and send text messages, before had one with all the technology, but I feel better with this because it not grabs you like the others...

Finally I like these objects by everything I said before, facilitate communication between all, and I think that the life without them would be more closer of all people.

...also i kwon how to communicate with animals...

I don't have a band or favorite singer because many are favorites for me, but one of the bands that I love is Calle 13.

Calle 13 is a band of urban music of Puerto Rico, headed by René Pérez Joglar, (Residente), and his brother Eduardo Cabra Martínez (Visitante). His sister Ileana Cabra Joglar (PG-13), is the female voice of the group.

The band is known for being eclectic, often using a variety of musical influences and imaginative fusions that have defined his unique style. In his works one can see influences from rock, rap, ska, merengue, bossa-nova, Balkan music, Latin American folklore and many more.

Today they have 4 albums: Calle 13 (2005), Residente o Visitante (2007), Los de atrás vienen conmigo (2008) y Entren los que quieran (2010). In 2009 Resident and Visiting presented his first documentary, Sin Mapa, which was televised by MTV. It tells the journey of the group who were in search of the essence of the great Latin American continent.

I like Calle 13 for their lyrics and unique style of music. Each song poseeun shocking social content, using irony and humor, as well direct. They sing to life, to the foolish, the efforts of the people, the desires, to consciousness, to everything.

It's been one of the best bands I've seen live, great staging and an atmosphere that everyone enjoyed, it is best to have been the first one meter off the stage!

I like all the songs, and it's hard to choose just one, but there is a special which speaks of love and a message behind for justice to animals, Muerte en Hawaii.

SIFAKA !

The Sifaka is a mammal animal. Lemurs are a few primates endemic to the island of Madagascar. Get their name from the lemurs, ghosts or spirits of Roman mythology due to the noisy vocalizations, his bright eyes and nocturnal habits of some species. The sifakas (Propithecus) is a genus of primates of the family commonly known as sifakas Indriidae.

I like this animal because I find interesting, funny, nice, relaxed with a social organization and behavior only. Sifakas spend most of their time in trees, feeding on leaves throughout the year and fruits when available. They make spectacular leaps from tree to tree propelling from the trunk with long hind limbs and then turning 180 degrees in the air to get in front of the next tree. They are diurnal animals and live in groups of up to 9 individuals, including several females suckling.

The lemurs are threatened by a number of environmental problems such as deforestation, hunting for bushmeat, capturing live specimens for the exotic pet trade and climate change. All lemur species are listed on Appendix I of CITES (The Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora) which prohibits trade in specimens or parts, except those intended for scientific research

I don't know specifically what the role of sifaka in animal kingdom, but I'm sure they are important, and that all animals contributes something, and together form a balance in the ecosystem and maintain a natural process of life.

OpiniOns !

What is your opinion about same-sex marriage?
I think it's the same as a marriage between persons of opposite sex, and should be accepted, because are seeing by a surface subject, and when persons get married, or are together, it is simply because they love, and we are free species with reasoning, with the capacity of can choose and feel, and that there should be no prohibitions.

What is your opinion about killing stray dogs?
I completely disagree. The overpopulation of stray dogs that exists today, is totally the fault of the human, and do not think because of us have to suffer the dogs.Clearly the solution is not to kill the dogs, but it must be a change in many ways, in education, in policy, and in the minds of people to learn to value animals in general. The humans, mostly, are accustomed to seeing animals as inferior, creating a little awareness about caring for them, leaving problems like overpopulation of dogs, that is just one example of many that reflect the irresponsibility and little mind of man.
Killing stray dogs is just a "solution" (is not a solution) stupid and not definitive.

What is your opinion about legalizing marijuana?
I think that the marijuana should be legalized. Pressed marijuana trafficking that exists only a result of its illegality, and that was the method by which people used to get ah, but unfortunately, as a result brought this to sink marijuana in something harmful, prohibited and bad seen. I think people will gradually opening mind a little more on this topic, this research and are realizing what is really marijuana, not only as a means of fun, also as something medicinal. I think it just legalizing may terminate the traffic and also end with the bad reputation of the grass.

What is your opinion about child labor?
I do not agree with infatil work that abuse children. Childhood is a great and important stage of life, children are the most innocent creatures in the world, and no one has the right to take the joy, dreams and innocence. They are also entitled to play, go to school, form view, choose of his life when they are older, and that children work only exposed to bad situations that can have consequences for later life.

What is your opinion about recycling?
I think recycling is a great way to help the planet! There are many types of recycling and many easy methods to do to help, and that all people regardless of the conditions can only think that I still have much to learn and much more culture.
